Emmerdale and EastEnders fans will need to be aware of some major schedule changes tonight as the ITV and BBC soaps are moved from their usual time slots

Emmerdale and EastEnders fans should brace themselves for significant alterations tonight.

ITV soap, Emmerdale, has been rescheduled to 7pm on Tuesday (October 28) from its regular 7.30pm slot to accommodate the Carabao Cup coverage. The Wrexham v Cardiff match will be broadcast from 7.30pm until 10.20pm.

Emmerdale viewers can anticipate heightened Robron tension as Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) confides in Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) about Kev Townsend’s (Chris Coghill) menacing conduct.

Simultaneously, Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) devises an escape strategy, snatching Ray Walters’ (Joe Absolom) money and hoping that April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) will elope with him.

On BBC One, EastEnders can be viewed as usual by most of the country. However, for those in Wales, the situation is slightly different, reports the Daily Star.

The Walford drama will be aired on BBC Two Wales at the standard time of 7.30pm due to Match of the Day’s coverage of Wales v Poland.

Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) finds herself at a loose end following a fiery dispute between Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig). She realises her unruly behaviour is driving patrons away from The Queen Vic.

In other news, Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) is probing for information on his enigmatic new love interest Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) – and he’s not the only one.

Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) also harbours doubts, and the two join forces to uncover Jasmine’s true identity.

The mystery surrounding Jasmine’s real identity has been the talk of the town among fans for weeks, with some theorising a connection to Jackie Ford, an old prison mate of Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

Jasmine made her first appearance last month and has been behaving rather oddly since then.

In addition, Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal and Heather Peace) have a meeting with an adoptive couple, but their evening doesn’t quite go as planned due to interruptions from the rest of the family.

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX and EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am..
