Emmerdale is set for dramatic scenes as Sam Dingle quits his job at Home Farm after confronting Joe Tate

Sam Dingle, played by James Hooton, resigns from his job at Home Farm after a confrontation with Joe Tate, portrayed by Ned Porteous.
However, with bills piling up, Lydia Dingle, enacted by Karen Blick, encourages her husband Sam to reclaim his job.
Joe initially declines, but Kim Tate, played by Claire King, steps in.
Lydia begins to question her loyalty to Kim due to her meagre raffle donation and Joe’s treatment of Sam, reports the Daily Star.

Sam hatches a plan for a questionable shoot on Home Farm land for extra cash, unbeknownst to Kim, and Lydia agrees to distract Kim at the Christmas Fayre, oblivious to Kim’s surprise for her.
During the shoot, Lydia struggles to keep it under wraps while Kim insists on her presence at the Fayre and Oliver’s shooting party demands food, leaving Sam concerned that Vanessa Woodfield, played by Michelle Hardwick, has spotted the shoot.
Kim summons Lydia to the pub, where Lydia’s dreams come true with a Jason Donovan concert.
Pop icon Jason is moved by the warm welcome from the villagers at the Woolpack.

However, after hearing about the suspicious shoot from Vanessa, Kim investigates and is later discovered severely injured in the woods.
Unable to move her leg, a helpless Kim waits for someone to find her or for death to take her.
In other village news, Kerry Wyatt (played by Laura Norton) is thrilled to discover a bank account set up in her name with £15,000 in it. However, her joy is short-lived when Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) warns her that spending the money could implicate her in a fraudulent scheme.
Later on, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) is shocked to learn about Kerry’s mysterious bank account from Jacob.
When he and Kerry are alone, she is left speechless when he reveals that he is her benefactor.
However, Pollard is taken aback by Kerry’s furious reaction to him using her to funnel tax-free money to Jacob without her consent.
Pollard is heartened by a slight thaw in relations between him and Kerry after he reminds her of the predicament Jacob would face if Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) were to pass away.
Before long, Kerry and Pollard are back on the same page after she reminds him that if he needs her assistance with anything, he should ask her first.
